Registration for the 2012 Laugavegur Ultra Marathon started on January 25th 2012. Click here to register.

Registration and payment is made electronically on the website marathon.is. The entry fee is charged in one payment and can only be refunded partly if requested before July 1st. Se further information here.

In the event of a cancellation, the registration fee cannot be used to pay for next year’s race. A registration for the race cannot be sold to another runner. Names registered cannot be changed. See further information in terms and conditions.

Bus transport

Requests for bus transport will open later. Closer to race day, runners will be asked by e-mail whether they request bus transport on Saturday July 14th from Reykjavík to Landmannalaugar in the morning and to Reykjavík from Húsadalur/Thorsmörk in the evening. Return tickets (round trip) only are available. Bus transport prices are per seat and no reduction is given if runners travel only part of distance by bus.
