All participants in the 2010 Laugavegur Ultra Marathon will be given a small waist bag with their number and other registration things.

The waist bag is intended as a trash bag for runners and it is also very convenient to fasten the race number on it. Change of clothing on the way will be easier by having the race number fastened on the waist bag.

The Laugavegur Ultra Marathon is run around the nature reserve Fjallabak where is strictly forbidden to throw away litter. Unfortunately, there has been failure in this past year and runners have been throwing away their litter. Where hundreds of participants are racing each participant must be aware of the responsibility for their own litter. In the race 2010 it is obliged to carry the bag for your own litter. We hope that the runners take this new provision greeted with a view to promote litter-free Laugavegur Ultra Marathon 2010

The waist bag is made of soft and comfortable material. It is small and lightweight, or only just over 50 grams. The material it is made off is very elastic so it can take a lot although it is small when it is empty.
