The weather forecast made today for the race day on Saturday is very positive for Laugavegur Ultra Marathon runners.

The forecast is NE-direction wind which is mostly wind in the back of the runners. Most likely the wind will be fairly light, but very little has to change so that the strength of the wind will be 7-12 m/s. Probably it will be mostly cloudy in the beginning. Later on it might be more overcast.

There is a lot of snow around Hrafntinnusker (10k). We therefore recommend that runners wear leggings or something else to prevent snow from going inside the shoes.
